LION CONSERVATION RESEARCH

In association with the University of Pretoria, funding for equipment and logistical support has been provided, allowing researchers to investigate the physiological and ecological effects of climate change on lion populations. Lions are listed as vulnerable on the IUCN red list, and any contribution to their conservation is vital.

POPULATION & BEHAVIOUR STUDIES

Camera traps play an important role in helping researchers determine population sizes, movement patterns and behaviours of a number of cryptic species not easily observed in person. Continuum Conservation is proud to have sponsored a number of camera traps on various reserves around South Africa, the data from which will be added to a long term, open access database

MASEKE GAME RESERVE ANTI-POACHING

All profits raised from our Primitive Big 5 Trails are donated to Maseke Game Reserve's APU. The funds are used to buy equipment and support logistics. Our goal for the year 2021 is to fund an additional anti-poaching dog for the unit.
